Biographical Information[edit]
Second baseman Don Allegrucci played in the minor leagues in 1954 and 1955, hitting .216 in 225 at-bats. He played for the Sandersville Wacos, Bristol Twins and McAlester Rockets.
He served in the Air Force Reserves from 1959 to 1966. He was also a Golden Gloves boxer. A Democrat, he later served in the Kansas State Senate from 1976 to 1980 and on the Kansas Supreme Court. After his death, donations were to go to Earthjustice "because the Earth needs a good lawyer."
