Biographical Information[edit]
Dino Restelli made major waves in 1949 by hitting 8 home runs in his first 10 major league games with the Pittsburgh Pirates. After his playing career, he was briefly a San Francisco policeman.
Restelli was in the minors from 1944 to 1955, missing 1945 for military service. He appeared in the Pacific Coast League for parts of 11 seasons, hitting around .350 in several different seasons.
