Biographical Information[edit]
Diego Corvalan made his debut in Spain's Division Honor with the 2010 Halcones de Vigo. He went 1-8 with a 5.64 ERA and 48 walks in 52 2/3 IP. He tied for 5th in the league in losses and was 4th in walks. He then was one of two southpaws on the Argentinian national team in the 2010 Pan American Games Qualification Tournament; he got one out and allowed one homer for a 27.00 ERA. With the 2011 Sevilla Red Sox, he hit .182/.270/.242 and was 0-6 with a 7.62 ERA. He helped Argentina to a Gold in the 2012 South American Championship and another Gold in the 2013 South American Championship.
