Biographical Information

Dick Weldon was a college coach.

Weldon joined the Marines when he was 16 years old. He then went to college and became a coach at Bamberg High School (unclear if it is was baseball or football as he coached both at times), though he had signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was head coach at the University of South Carolina and also was assistant coach for 10 years there and coached football. He later coached at the high school level and then worked in real estate.
