Biographical Information[edit]

Dick Phillips was a pitcher in the last years of the Negro Leagues. He was with the Kansas City Monarchs when he was picked to start the 1952 East-West Game. He allowed one run, two walks and three hits in three innings, fanning one, in a 7-3 win. He got the decision.
