Biographical Information[edit]
Catcher Dick Morgan played in the New York Yankees system from 1944 to 1945 and from 1947 to 1951. He began his career at 17 years old. His brother Tom Morgan played in the majors.
Perhaps his best years were with the Victoria Athletics in 1948 and 1949. The former campaign, he hit .288 with 19 doubles in 80 games and the latter, he hit .282 in 92 games.
He served in the United States Navy in 1945.
