Biographical Information[edit]
Dick Cotter came out of dreary old Manhattan to catch in two big league seasons. He attended school from 1909 to 1911 and made his debut with the Philadelphia Phillies on August 17, 1911, reuniting with collegiate teammate George Chalmers. In his two looks, the other with the Chicago Cubs, he hit fairly decent: .280/.357/.320 with 14 RBI and two triples in 46 games.
