Biographical Information[edit]

Catcher Dick Conway played for the Twin Falls Cowboys in the Pioneer League in 1951 and hit .277 with 11 home runs in 55 games. Taking infield practice before a game against the Ogden Reds on June 29th of that year, he was struck in the chest by a ball thrown by player/manager Don Trower. He died on the way to the hospital.
