Biographical Information[edit]

Dick Burwell started one game in his short major league career. It was his debut, September 13, 1960, for the Chicago Cubs against the Cincinnati Reds. He went 5 innings, gave up 6 hits, 6 runs, walked 3 and had no strikeouts. He left the game tied, 6-6, as Don Elston ended up getting the loss, 8-6. In 5 games, Dick had a 6.59 ERA.
