Biographical Information[edit]
Dick Bass played one game with the Washington Senators in 1939. He was employed during World War II by Acme Aluminum Alloys, of Dayton, Ohio, as a purchasing agent. He briefly managed the Fort Wayne Daisies in the AAGPBL in 1948 but was let go after developing a crush on one of his players.
