Biographical Information

Derwin Pomare has played in the minors and for the Colombian national team.

Pomare hit .350/.409/.450 in 7 games for the 2012 DSL Padres. With the same team in 2013, he hit .270/.358/.355 while playing all four infield positions, the corner outfield spots and pitcher (1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 0 K). He played a similar role for the '14 DSL Padres, though he was mostly used at 1B this time. He batted .211/.247/.269 though he did go 13-for-15 in steal attempts. He pitched two shutout innings. He made the Colombian squad when they hosted the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games.
