Biographical Information[edit]
Derek Woodley has been a baseball coach.
Woodley was assistant coach at Bethany Lutheran College for six years then was head coach for six years, going 141-90. He then was assistant coach at Manhattan College. He also served as a scout for the St. Louis Cardinals from 2000-2004. In 2008, Derek became head coach of Defiance College.
In January 2023, Woodley resigned as head baseball coach and athletic director of Defiance to join the New York Yankees player development staff. He was defensive coach of the Hudson Valley Renegades in 2023-2024.
