Derek Carlson

Derek Carlson has been a college coach.
After being a 3-time All-Star at Brandeis, Carlson remained there as assistant coach from 1991-1996. From 1997-2002, he was assistant coach at Wheaton College. He became head coach of Roger Williams University in 2003. He set a school record with 34 wins in 2008, winning the Commonwealth Coast Conference Coach of the Year. In 13 seasons at Roger Williams, Carlson compiled 261 victories and was named Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Coach of the Year four times, most recently in 2014.
After the 2015 season, he left Roger Williams to become head coach of his alma mater, Brandeis.
