Biographical Information[edit]

Relief pitcher Dennys Gomez was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 27th round of the 1994 amateur draft, a few picks ahead of pitcher Brian Smith. He played in their system from 1994 to 1997, peaking at High A. He then played in independent ball in 1998, 1999, 2002 and 2007. In 2007, he served as an assistant coach for the Charlotte County Redfish. He wore number 26.

He was 18-20 with a 4.96 ERA in 156 games (22 starts) over eight professional seasons. He has also been listed as Danny Gomez.
