Denny Bowers

Denny Bowers is a college coach.
Bowers was a pitcher-outfielder at Susquehanna University, hitting .371 for his career. He hit .435 in 1998 to be named All-Middle Atlantic Commonwealth Conference. He also was twice All-MACC in football and finished fourth in all-time in school history in sacks.
Bowers served as assistant coach at Susquehanna from 2001-2005, then became head coach in the summer of 2005. He was named MACC Coach of the Year in 2006, after ending a run of five consecutive last-place finishes by Susquehanna. In 2009, the school took the regular-season MACC title.
