Dennis King (Great Britain)
Dennis King debuted for the British national team in the 1971 European Championship as a middle infielder and backup catcher; he was not the only King on the team as Hugh King was also present (it is unclear if they were related). Dennis played in the qualifiers for the 1975 European Championship. In the 1984 European Championship B-Pool, he was named "Man of the Match" in a win over Finland. He went 1 for 10 in the 1989 European Championship, Britain's first trip to the Euros since '71. Dennis was the only player to appear for Britain both 1971 and 1989.
