Biographical Information[edit]

Dennie Bridges coached baseball at Illinois Wesleyan University on an interim basis in 1986-1987 after the resignation of Tom Gramkow. He was also the school's athletic director from 1981 to 2015. He had played basketball (All-Conference), football (All-Conference quarterback) and baseball at IWU and coached tennis there. He was mainly noted, though, as the school's basketball coach from 1965-2001. He led them to the NCAA Division III basketball crown in 1996-1997 and coached future NBA starter Jack Sikma there.
