Deni Pacini scouted for the Los Angeles Dodgers and signed outfielder Tom Goodwin.
His obituary states he had the opportunity to sign with the St. Louis Cardinals, but he opted not to. It also says that he scouted for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Florida Marlins and Los Angeles Angels.[1]
