Biographical Information

Dempsie Britt pitched in the minor leagues from 1950 to 1951 and 1953 to 1954. Perhaps his best campaign was 1953, when he went 14-7 with a 3.42 ERA in 32 games (21 starts) for the Jacksonville Beach Sea Birds. On July 27 of that year, he tossed a no-hitter against the Cocoa Indians, winning 4-0.

Overall, he was 34-26 with a 3.88 ERA in 101 games.
