Biographical Information[edit]
Del Harris was a pitcher in college and also played guard on the basketball team. He coached both sports, guiding the Earlham College baseball team from 1966-1968. He was more noted for his basketball coaching, guiding three NBA teams to a 556-457 record in the period 1979-1999 and being named NBA Coach of the Year for 1994-1995.
