Personal Recollection[edit]
Del Bastock was a tall, big right-handed pitcher, who led the league in strikeouts. He had good velocity on his fastball, his best pitch. Green Bay was a farm team of the Cleveland Indians, so he probably continued playing in their farm system after his 1953 year.
