Deerfield Beach Sun Sox

From BR Bullpen

The only professional baseball club in the history of Deerfield Beach, FL was a Chicago White Sox farm team in the 1966 Florida State League, the Deerfield Beach Sun Sox. They went 34-35 in the field but poor attendance forced the Don Bacon-managed team to move to Winter Haven, FL in late June to begin the second half as the Winter Haven Sun Sox. For how they finished over the course of the season, see that page.
