Biographical Information

Dean Berry has been a college coach.

He played baseball and football at Mayville State, earning all-NDCAC honors at pitcher as a senior in 1993. He then coached high school and American Legion for 8 years and was an assistant coach at Dartmouth College and Concordia College (MN). He was head coach of Huron University in 2000-2002 and assistant coach at Mayville State from 2003-2006. He was the softball coach at Presentation College in 2007. He coached Dakota State University from 2008-2010 then became head coach of Northern State University. He tied the school record for wins (28) in 2014 and was named Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Coach of the Year.
