Biographical Information[edit]
David Voigt was a baseball historian and author. He wrote American Baseball, a three-part series that was published between 1966 and 1983, among other books, and contributed to the Baseball Research Journal. In addition, Voigt served as a consultant in the making of Ken Burns' series Baseball and was a member of the Major League Baseball to the Commissioner's Committee for Historical Accuracy.
From 1974 to 1975, he served a President of the Society for American Baseball Research.
He also taught at Albright College.
