David Siroty is the author of The Hit Men and the Kid Who Batted Ninth. Siroty had been Assistant Sports Information Director at Seton Hall University from 1986-1990 and helped to promote "The Hit Men" - Craig Biggio, Marteese Robinson and Mo Vaughn. He has worked in public relations for several organizations and has covered college basketball as a freelance writer.
