David Remedios Aguado

David Remedios debuted with the Industriales in 2008-2009, going 2 for 18 with a homer, two walks and nine strikeouts. He did not handle a chance in 14 innings in left field. He was notable for a 85-minute at-bat on December 24. In the first inning, Remedios came to the plate when Juan Castro summoned reliever Dany Gonzalez with a 3-0 deficit. Gonzalez was ineligible to play as he was a scratch from the roster for the game. German Mesa, the Industriales manager, came out to argue this point. To try to prevent a forfeit, Castro urged Gonzalez to stall. After 85 minutes, Castro finally let Gonzalez face Remedios, who whiffed on three pitches.
