Biographical Information

Pitcher David McKay made his major league debut pitching for the Seattle Mariners on May 20, 2019. After 7 games with the Mariners, he was claimed off waivers by the Detroit Tigers on August 6th, and pitched another 18 games for them. One of these games, however, on September 6th, was the completion of a suspended game against the Oakland Athletics. Given suspended games are listed after they have been completed on the date on which they started, McKay is credited with taking part in a game on May 19th - prior to his major league debut, and with a team he did not join until over two months later.
