Biographical Information[edit]
Dave Yeast was a replacement umpire in the National League for 7 games at the start of the 1995 season, when the regular umpires were on strike. He was a long-time college umpire, working the 1991 College World Series and 1995 College World Series and in the Big 12 Conference, Metro Athletic Conference, Missouri Valley Conference, Mountain West Conference, Southeastern Conference, Pac-12 Conference, Western Athletic Conference and West Coast Conference. He has been umpire coordinator for the MVC, Metro Conference, Conference USA, Pac-12, Big West and WAC.
