Biographical Information[edit]
Dave Schrage became the head coach at Butler University from 2017-2022, winning 133 games before retiring. He had been named baseball coach at the South Dakota State University for 2012. He was head coach at the University of Notre Dame in 2007-2010 after four seasons as the head coach at the University of Evansville (2003-2006). He previously had coached at the Northern Illinois University (2000-2002), the University of Northern Iowa (1991-1999), and Waldorf Junior College (1988-1990). His career record in 34 years as head coach was 865-937-3.
Before that, Schrage was an assistant at Biscayne College (under Paul Mainieri who he replaced at Notre Dame) in 1984 and Creighton University in 1985.
Schrage also coached the Queensland Rams in 1986-1987.
