Biographical Information

Dave Poole was a minor league player and a college coach while he attended Davidson College.

Poole played in both the Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds organizations after graduating from Reynolds High School. Towards the end of his professional baseball career, he enrolled in Davidson College and in 1952, was named the head coach for one season where his team went 4-13.
