Biographical Information

Dave Gerard pitched in 39 games for the Chicago Cubs in 1962.

Beginning in pro ball in 1955, he went 18-9 in 1956 for the Lafayette Oilers and 12-9 in 1958 for the Fort Worth Cats. In 1961 he was 11-9 for the minor league Houston Buffs club. He finished up in the Pacific Coast League in 1964.

On the Cubs, he was five years older than Ken Hubbs and six years younger than Ernie Banks.
