Biographical Information

Pitcher Dave Cheadle was selected by the New York Yankees in the first round of the 1970 amateur draft with the 12th overall pick. After being dealt to the Atlanta Braves during the 1973 season, he was a September call up that year, making two relief appearances. He later played in the Pittsburgh Pirates chain. Cheadle died in 2012 at age 60.
