Biographical Information[edit]

Dave Carlucci was the Boston Red Sox bullpen coach for part of the 1996 season and also spent a period of time as the team's bullpen catcher.

He was a catcher in the Los Angeles Dodgers minor league system from 1984 to 1986 after being a 4th-round choice in the 1984 amateur draft out of Westfield State College. His best minor league season was his first one, when he hit .316 for the Great Falls Dodgers of the Pioneer League. He then spent 1985 and 1986 with the Bakersfield Dodgers of the California League, hitting .227 and .232.
