Biographical Information

Pitcher Dave Brown played in the minor leagues from 1947 to 1948. His first year, with the Lenoir Red Sox, he went 4-6 with a 5.56 ERA; in 1948, he was 7-8 with a 4.25 mark with the St. Joseph Cardinals. He returned to St. Joseph in 1949, but statistics for that year are unavailable. He later worked as a truck driver and butcher and was active in his church.
