Biographical Information

Darryl Morhardt played briefly in the minors. He is the son of Moe Morhardt, brother of Greg Morhardt and uncle of Justin Morhardt.

Darryl was a 1B-P for the independent Butte Copper Kings in 1985, going 0-2 with 17 hits, 18 walks and 23 runs in 9 innings. At the plate, he was 4 for 21 with 3 walks and a homer. He was a coach at the University of Hartford (1991-1995), Gateway Junior College (head coach, one year), Western Connecticut State College (2 years), Marietta College (6 years) and George Washington University. He then managed the Holyoke Blue Sox, a summer collegiate team.
