Biographical Information[edit]
Darcy Fast started one game in his major league career. The start came on August 28, 1968 against the Los Angeles Dodgers as a member of the Chicago Cubs. He pitched 3 and 1/3 innings, giving up 3 hits, 2 earned runs, walking 3 and struck out 4.
After baseball he became a pastor for 30 years. He wrote a book with Jonathan Kravetz in 2007 called The Missing Cub about his experiences.
A biography states that he attended North Thurston High School, playing footgball, basketball and baseball. He served in the Vietnam War, interrupting his pro career. [1]
