Biographical Information

Danny Perez had only 4 at-bats in the majors. In the minors, he hit pretty well, normally hitting at least .290 and getting walks as well. His minor league career ran from 1992-2001.

His time at Oklahoma State University overlapped with that of Jeromy Burnitz. Burnitz was picked in the first round in the 1990 amateur draft, while Perez was picked in the 21st round in 1992. They were both on the 1996 Milwaukee Brewers, but Perez had his games with them prior to the time when Burnitz was acquired by trade in August.
