Biographical Information[edit]
Danny MacFayden was the baseball coach at Bowdoin College from 1946 to 1970.
Playing for Somerville High School on May 7, 1924, Danny struck out 32 batters in a 17-inning game against Everett High School.

- AL Shutouts Leader (1929)
- 15 Wins Seasons: 2 (1931 & 1936)
- 200 Innings Pitched Seasons: 6 (1929-1931 & 1936-1938)
- Won a World Series with the New York Yankees in 1932 (he did not play in the World Series)
