Biographical Information

Danny Hayden has been a college coach.

He hit .456 as a high school senior. In 2004, he was 4 for 19 with a homer as a freshman at Miami. He transferred to Xavier and hit .241/.286/.302 as a sophomore, then .237/.294/.341 as a junior. His senior year, he batted .246/.278/.406. The Chicago White Sox took him in the 47th round of the 2008 amateur draft but did not sign him. He was assistant coach at Miami in 2010 and at Xavier from 2011-2013 before becoming Miami's head coach for 2014. He was 240-273 in ten seasons.
