Biographical Information

After his brief MLB career, Danny Godby returned to his home county of Logan, WV, where he was a high school teacher and coach for many years at Chapmanville High School and later the new Chapmanville Regional High School, part-owner of a sporting goods store, and, since 1989, one of three elected county commissioners. As of 2016, he was serving his fourth 6-year term on the commission.
