Biographical Information

Daniel Tucker attended Elon University where he earned degrees in Sports Management and Statistics. He also worked with the baseball team as their Director of Analytics from 2019 until his graduation in 2021. In 2019 Tucker was part of an Elon student team that participated in the undergraduate division of the 2019 Diamond Dollars Case Competition during the annual SABR Analytics Conference.

After graduation Tucker served as a Pitching Coach/Data Analytics Coordinator for the Carolina Wolves, a team that played in the Southern Shores Collegiate League. In the fall of 2021 he was a Pitching Analyst for the Wake Forest University Demon Deacons. This job did not last long because the Toronto Blue Jays hired him in 2022 as the bullpen/assistant pitching coach for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. He was then an assistant coach for the FCL Blue Jays in 2023.
