Biographical Information

Daniel Tan was the last addition to the New Zealand national team for the 2013 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers. He played two games, pinch-running once for Beau Bishop and then pinch-hitting for him in the 9th of the 9-0 loss to Taiwan in the finale. As a pinch-hitter, the utility man struck out against Hung-Wen Chen.
