Biographical Information

Daniel Devonshire made his pro debut in 2012.

Devonshire was born and raised in New Zealand then came to the US for college. He was picked by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 37th round of the 2012 amateur draft. The scout was Jon Bunnell. Devonshire was 4 for 27 with five walks, 12 whiffs, four runs and one RBI for the 2012 GCL Blue Jays, playing solely DH. He went 2 for 12 with a walk, run and a RBI as the New Zealand DH in the 2013 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers, getting his hits off Yao-Lin Wang and Nattapong Meeboonrod.
