Biographical Information

After serving in the Marines during World War II, Daniel Beck played briefly in the minors. With the Lawton Giants of the Sooner State League in 1950, he hit .274/.398/.411 with 15 runs and 14 walks in 21 games. He fielded .915 in the outfield. Following his baseball days, he was a mailman for many years.
