Biographical Information[edit]

First baseman Daniel Paolini began his professional career in 2011. He was taken by the Seattle Mariners in the 10th round of the 2011 amateur draft. The scout was Brian Nichols. He reached Triple-A for the first time in 2015.

He hit .284/.378/.463 with four home runs and 26 RBI in 61 games for the Pulaski Mariners in 2011 and batted .299/.376/.493 with 18 home runs and 73 RBI in 111 games for the Clinton LumberKings in 2012. He was a MiLB.com Organization All-Star that year. In 2013, he played for the High Desert Mavericks and Jackson Generals and again hit 18 home runs with 73 RBI. Back with Jackson in 2014, he had 13 dingers and 65 RBI. 2015 was split between Jackson and the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers. Between them, he hit .256/.352/.345 with five homers and 41 RBI in 108 games; in his first taste of Triple-A, he batted .156/.283/.222 with a homer and four RBI in 15 games.
