Biographical Information[edit]
Dan O'Brien was on the Team USA that won Gold in the 1973 FEMBA Amateur World Series. He pitched briefly in the major leagues with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1978 and 1979, going 1-3, 5.90 in 13 games, including 2 starts. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1976 to 1981, was spent in the minor leagues. He was in AAA for at least part of his last four seasons as a professional.
