Biographical Information[edit]
Dan Hagan played in the minor leagues from 1961 to 1965.
He began his career with a .376/.453/.561 line in 63 games for the Wytheville Twins, his first year, stealing 12 bases, walking 32 times and whiffing only 17 times. After his average dropped to .240 in 1962, he rebounded to .306/.380/.399 with 16 steals in 136 games for the Wilson Tobs in 1963. He never again posted such lofty percentages and -- though he briefly reached Triple-A in 1965 -- his minor league career was over after five seasons.
Overall, he hit .297/.376/.405 with 19 home runs, 205 RBI and 37 stolen bases in 422 games.
