Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Dan Fiorito was signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Yankees on August 21, 2012 after hitting .397/.474/.648 with 21 home runs, 108 RBI,116 runs scored and 36 stolen bases in 398 college at-bats.

He reached Triple A each year from 2013 to 2016, but was released by New York before the start of the 2017 season. He left the organization with a .240/.308/.317 career line, including a .219/.282/.301 mark at Triple A. He also made four appearances on the mound, posting a 0.00 ERA in 5 1/3 innings.

After his release, Fiorito immediately turned to coaching with the Yankees and was assigned to coach Pulaski Yankees defenders. He served as a defensive coach for the Charleston RiverDogs in 2018. Fiorito took on managing responsibilities with the GCL Yankees East in 2019 and was scheduled to manage the Staten Island Yankees in 2020 before COVID-19 shut down the minor league season. In 2021 he managed the Hudson Valley Renegades. Fiorito took on dual responsibilities in 2022 as manager of the Somerset Patriots and as a minor league upper level infield/outfield instructor.
