Dale Harpenau

Dale Harpenau has been a college coach for over 20 years, winning over 700 games.

A catcher in college, Harpenau was a graduate assistant at Arkansas Tech in 1986-1987, then became head coach when he was only 23 years old. He was 302-185-4 from 1988-1998, winning Arkansas Intercollegiate Conference Coach of the Year in 1988 and 1992. He set the school record for wins.

In 1999, he moved to the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith where he went 526-273. He resigned after the 2014 season. He was also Fort Smith's athletic director from 2003-2008.
