Biographical Information

Daam Hoogendijk was a Dutch baseball executive.

Hoogendijk pitched for VVGA in the top Dutch league, noted for his curveball. He later was a physical education teacher. He co-founded HCAW in 1957 and was a player-coach for them their first year, 1958, when they won the Third Division. After moving and getting a job elsewhere as a teacher, he helped co-found The Hawks in 1959 and was a P-SS for them. Both HCAW and the Hawks honored him on their 60th anniversaries.
